RiverNet Connect Rural Broadband
Like many rural electric cooperatives around America, Lynches River Electric Cooperative in Pageland, South Carolina, has spent the last few years closing the digital divide with the rollout of high-speed broadband internet to its member-owners in partnership with a telecommunications contractor and a broadband provider.
After gauging interest from members and initiating the fiber network’s build-out, LREC’s biggest task became marketing the service and building awareness. That was temporarily accomplished with a simple mini-site provided by CrowdFiber, the cooperative’s broadband partner.
When Lynches River quickly outgrew the confines of their public-facing CrowdFiber onboarding portal within the first twelve months, they turned to us to create something that better captured their brand to showcase their internet initiative in a more compelling way, pass along detailed information to members (potential customers), and raise the profile of this newly-christened internet service, RiverNet Connect.
